Child Restraints
Children aged 3 years and younger must be in a child restraint unless it is reasonably determined they cannot fit in such a restraint in which case they must use the adult seat belt.
The law only applies to parents or guardians, children of residents or children in vehicles registered in the state. |
Seat Belts
Children aged 4 to 11 years must wear a seatbelt, children aged 12 and over must wear a seatbelt when travelling in front seat. |
