Child Restraints
Children aged 3 years and younger must be in a child restraint unless it is reasonably determined they cannot fit in such a restraint in which case they must use the adult seat belt.

The law only applies to parents or guardians, children of residents or children in vehicles registered in the state.
Seat Belts
Children aged 4 to 11 years must wear a seatbelt, children aged 12 and over must wear a seatbelt when travelling in front seat.
