Child Restraints
Children aged 3 years and younger must be in a child restraint.
Children aged 4 to 15 years must be restrained but can use the adult belt if a restraint is not available.
The law only applies to parents or guardians, children of residents or children in vehicles registered in the state. |
Seat Belts
Children aged six years and over must wear a seatbelt when travelling in a front seat. All passengers must wear a seatbelt if the driver is younger than 18 years old. |
