Child Restraints
Children 3 years and younger must be in a child restraint.
Children aged 4 & 5 years must be restrained but the adult seat belt can be used for them.
The law only applies to parents or guardians, children of residents or children in vehicles registered in the state. |
Seat Belts
Children aged 6 years and over must wear a seatbelt when travelling in the front seat. |
